uShip announced it has surpassed $30 million in eBay items shipped and 200,000 total eBay items listed in its marketplace. uShip connects eBay buyers with feedback-rated transporters who can move hard-to-ship purchases such as cars, heavy equipment and furniture to drive down delivery costs.
The shipping marketplace estimates that one in 10 shippable eBay Motors vehicles makes its way onto uShip. Overall, uShip has transacted over $120 million in business and grown over 100 percent compared to 2008.
uShip said one factor fueling its growth with eBay items has been the adoption of uShip’s eBay Shipping Center (link). By linking their eBay and uShip accounts, buyers and sellers can import into the eBay Shipping Center any eBay items they are monitoring. uShip calculates the Total Purchase Cost (lowest shipping cost plus current item selling price) of items an eBay user is buying, watching, selling or has won. Earlier this month, uShip passed 40,000 total Linked Accounts.
Sellers can also embed uShip’s Shipping Price Estimator directly into their eBay listings, so potential buyers and bidders can learn estimated shipping costs.
