The company–which is backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers–said it now has over 3.5 million registered shipping customers in its marketplace. The company announced the details in a roundup of its recent activities on Wednesday; the company was founded in 2003. uShip operates an online shipping marketplace and develops related freight automation software.
