uShip.com has built a precise and up-to-date shipment tracking platform enabling uShip customers to monitor the location and activity of their transportation service providers (TSPs) and track their shipments in transit.
TSPs can offer tracking services using the applications available in the uShip Tracking platform to provide customers shipment location information. Options vary from manual location updates to automated GPS device tracking, with TSPs having full control over privacy settings.
Location-based services providers can integrate their tools and applications into uShip’s Tracking platform.
TSPs register a mobile device with Veriplace and ensure it is in the vehicle handling the shipment being tracked. uShip pings the phone at regular intervals to establish vehicle’s location. The service works with all phones on the Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile networks.
